Latest iPad2 Rumors? Thinner, More Ram, Anti-Reflective Screen?

That's right folks! The latest batch of rumors are out about the iPad2. An analyst from Concord Securities is claiming to have knowledge about the next model of the iPad. AppleInsider has reported that Ming-Chi Kuo, has stated the iPad2 will NOT have the retina display. This fits in with other reports I have been reading that the Retina display is actually slated for iPad3. He has also stated that as previously mentioned on this blog, the iPad2 WILL have the Cortex 1.2 Ghz A9 Dual Core Processor in it, as well

as a doubling of the current RAM to 512MB. He stated that the "iPad 2 will also have a GPU using Imagination’s SGX543 dual core graphics technology which is 200~300% powerful than iPhone 4."

Also it has been said by Ming-Chi Kuo that the iPad2 WILL have cameras, but they will be the same lower quality front and back cameras that the iPod Touch has. While it is nice that it will finally have camera's, I was and still am, hoping it will at least have the same camera that is in the iPhone4. The next little bit of rumor/news to come from him was mention of an Anti-Reflective screen coating. This would be nice, so long as it does not cut down on the vibrancy of the images in regular light.

However, all this is still rumor. With the iPad2 likely less than 2 months away from being announced, we will just have to wait and see.
