At this year's CES, there has been no shortage of iPad accessories. However, the ones that are catching the attention of everyone this year, are the new cases for the as of yet, unannounced, iPad2! The cases on display at CES all seem to prove a few theories about the upcoming iPad refresh. Surely all the different case manufacturers are not basing their new designs, solely on rumor and Internet pipe dreams.. Take a look at this photo from one such manufacturer, Y-Case. More after the jump...The first thing we notice, a rear facing camera. It is also fairly safe to assume that there will be a forward facing camera as well. Then next thing we notice right away, is the much larger speaker hole. It has often been rumored that the iPad2 will have a bigger, better speaker. The next detail we have gleamed from the new cases are the extra port on the side. It was rumored that this would either be a USB port or another docking port. Based on the size, I would be lead to believe it is a secondary dock port. The last detail we notice, has to do with dimensions. The home button seems to be close to the bottom of the device and the overall unit appears thinner and with a flat back, not like the rounded one we have now.
This is going to be an interestting year! I look forward to being the first one in line for the new iPad!
